Boonton Township - Plumbing Subcode - PT (4-10-26)
Is seeking a part-time plumbing subcode official (six hours per week). Must hold a valid HHS license issued by the NJ Department of Community Affairs and a NJ driver’s license. Salary range $12,000-$15,600. A minimum of one year of experience is preferred. Applicant must have excellent communication and writing skills, and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and SDL. Valid NJ Driver’s License, with a clean driving record, required. Approximately 6 hours/week. Sandyston Township - Plumbing Subcode PT (3-24-26)
(With Shared Service Responsibility for Frankford, Hampton And Montague Townships) Due to the pending retirement of its long-term Construction Official who serves as the Plumbing and Building Subcode Official, Sandyston Township is seeking interested applicants for a part-time Plumbing Subcode Official for Sandyston Township with a shared service responsibility for three (3) additional municipalities (Frankford, Hampton and Montague Townships). Applicant must possess current and valid New Jersey Uniform Construction Code License as Plumbing Subcode Official w/HHS, with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience, additional HHS sub-code licensing is a plus. Experience with SDL computer program a plus. Valid NJ Driver’s License required. Salary range: $30,000-$36,000 annual, based on the participation of shared services. No insurance benefits. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of construction codes, management principles, and the ability to enforce regulations and maintain accurate records. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the public and co-workers is essential. Job duties to include but are not limited to plan review and performance of required inspections.
